“Observe constantly that all things take place by change, and accustom thyself to consider that the nature of the Universe loves nothing so much as to change the things which are, and to make new things like them.” - Marcus Aurelius
When I attempt to write with my attention focused on a 3rd party perspective reader, as in, someone else reading what I’m about to write, it doesn’t flow.
Cheers to a moment of this awareness.
Now to writing in flow with whatever comes out and whatever I think…
A new chapter has begun. A new seedling has sprouted in a fertile ground - fertilized through experience, time, energy, and many plants that have previously grown and died on this land.
While on one hand it may feel wrong (from the perspective of a being’s purpose and desire for existence) for one plant, or initiative, to cease existing, in reality it did not go to waste. The plant decomposes and its nutrients feed the ground to make way for a more fertile soil, one that will grow a potentially even stronger and better lasting plant.
